Korvix (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) sets forth this Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “this Policy”) regarding the handling of personal information of users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) of the services provided on our website and applications (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”).
Article 1 (Information We Collect)
We collect the following information in connection with the provision of the Service.
- Account information (email address)
- Payment information (card number, cardholder name, expiry date, CVC, billing email address, billing address) *Collected by the payment processor and not stored on our servers.*
- Log information (IP address, User-Agent, OS/browser language settings, referrer, operation logs, etc.)
- Cookies, etc. (session cookies, analytics cookies, cookieless analytics beacons)
Article 2 (Purposes of Use)
We use the collected information for the following purposes.
- Provision, maintenance, and improvement of the Service
- Processing subscription payments
- Troubleshooting and security measures
- Statistics and analysis to improve user experience, such as automatic language switching of the display language based on browser language settings
Article 3 (Cookies and Similar Technologies)
- Required Cookies: Used to maintain login status and provide essential functions of the Service.
- Analytics Cookies: Issued by Google’s analytics services to understand usage and improve UI/UX.
- Cookieless Analytics: Aggregated without using cookies via Cloudflare’s cookieless analytics service.
Article 4 (Storage Location and Management)
- The primary database is stored on servers in the Tokyo region (Tokyo) operated by Vultr. Although Vultr operates more than 30 locations worldwide, we currently use only the Tokyo region.
- File storage (audio, images, etc.) is stored in Cloudflare’s object storage service (APAC region).
- In-app metadata and caches are stored in Cloudflare’s distributed datastore and may be processed on Cloudflare’s global edge network.
- Communication is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and internal access is role-based to allow only the minimum necessary personnel.
Article 5 (Provision to Third Parties and Outsourcing)
We may outsource the handling of personal information to the following entities within the scope necessary for the operation of the Service.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Vultr Holdings Corporation (USA), Cloudflare Inc. (USA and group companies)
- Payment Processing: Stripe Payments Japan K.K. / Stripe, Inc. (USA), Google LLC, Apple Inc., Microsoft Corporation
- Email Delivery: Amazon Web Services, Inc. (Amazon SES)
- Analytics: Google LLC, Cloudflare Inc.
These contractors include entities located outside Japan (e.g., the USA and Europe). We supervise them appropriately by concluding confidentiality agreements and other measures in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws.
Article 6 (Retention Period)
As a rule, we retain information while the user maintains an account and delete or anonymize related data within 30 days after receiving a withdrawal request. However, information required to be retained under accounting, tax, or other laws (such as payment records) will be retained for the period specified by such laws. Payment information retained by payment processors is stored in accordance with each processor’s privacy policy.
Article 7 (User Rights)
- You can change your registered email address, etc. in My Page.
- Requests for withdrawal and data deletion can be made to support@korvix.music.
- We also accept requests for disclosure, correction, suspension of use, and other legal rights at the same contact point.
Article 8 (Use by Minors)
Users under 18 years old must obtain parental consent before use. If consent cannot be confirmed, we may restrict or suspend use.
Article 9 (Changes to this Privacy Policy)
If there are important changes to this Policy, we will notify users in advance on the Service. If a user continues to use the Service after the changes, the user will be deemed to have agreed to the changes.
